The Lord continues to move in the southern part of Milan, Italy church! The last two years since we saw the Jones’ in 2022 have been very exciting. During that trip in 2022 the Jones’ spent a good bit of time pleading with their partners in the US to help support an effort to secure a facility for Veritas church in Rozzano. How the Lord answered that prayer and plea!
Since then, one door after another has been supernaturally opened and has led Veritas to securing a building, being able to renovate that facility, and make that the regular meeting home of Veritas! To think, nearly 15 years ago Keith and Debbie left for Italy with their young children to a town where they knew no one, in an area that was incredibly secular and atheist, to Roman Catholic culturally at best, and are now a part of a thriving church of over 120 born again followers of Christ!
The Jones are about to return to the US and visit their supporting churches again this August. We have the opportunity to join in with other supporting churches in the area at their “Focus on Italy” night at Forest Hills Baptist Church, Saturday August 24th at 6:30pm. Not only will we get to hear from Keith on the work the Lord is doing in Rozzano (the town home to Veritas south of Milan), but we will also get to meet Paulo DiNunzio. Did I forget to mention this? This is the most amazing part!
Paulo has been working closely with Keith over the last several years as a part of a plan to transition to the role of lead pastor at Veritas. As the Lord has called out His church in Rozzano and the Milan area, he has provided for the practical needs, but he has also called a native Italian pastor to Veritas to serve and equip the saints there! How good is our God who never fails to provide what his church needs when the church needs it!
